This bead was made with a reactive glass, which has given it a nice iridescent effect.
Update June 14th: The reactive glass used in this bead is Aurae by a company called Double Helix. When encased in clear glass, it picks up iridescent hues in the blue tones. When not encased and exposed to a reducing flame, a metallic luster is brought out of the glass, in pinkish purple and gold hues. I am enjoying playing with this glass and fully addicted.
